11 Fast Growing Careers through 2026

Topic Progress:

Obviously any industry is going to have its ups and downs, but right now the construction industry has higher than average employment projections and is expected to see substantial growth over the next few years. That’s really good news!  We’re looking at an estimated 758,400 brand new jobs by 2026 according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).

That being said, there’s a lack of skilled professionals to fill those jobs which means this is an amazing opportunity for you if you’re interested in the Architecture and Construction career cluster!

Average career growth for all industries is 7%. Greater than 10% is a big deal!

What does “Job Growth” even mean? In simple terms it tells us whether or not there will be an increasing number of jobs in a particular career path over a period of time.  Careers with a high job growth means that there are lots of jobs to be filled which is a wonderful thing for you if you choose that career path!
